Biography

Katherine Marlink is an associate at Powers Miller specializing in insurance defense, including motor vehicle accidents and premises liability.

Katherine is a thoughtful listener who brings a love of problem solving to her work. "I enjoy analyzing problems and finding resolutions for clients," she says.

Before joining Powers Miller, Katherine worked as an associate attorney practicing creditor's rights and defense of creditors. She has represented creditors at trials, arbitrations and mediations. During law school, Katherine also completed an internship with the National Crime Victim Law Institute, which works to protect victims' rights.

Prior to pursuing a legal career, Katherine worked in biomedical research; her research has been published in several medical journals. She has previously worked as a veterinary technician. Katherine also earned her Emergency Medical Technician certification and completed a summer internship in trauma surgery.
